Rosewood Crescent-Jasmine Star workshop/Dallas, Texas

Hello friends!

I just got back from an amazing workshop with the ever so talented Jasmine Star.  I traveled four hours to Dallas just to see this sweet and amazing photographer.  I never expected to walk away with so much inspiration and determination.  I learned a lot about who I am as a photographer and as a person.  I can’t even describe in words how wonderful this workshop was for me and probably the nineteen other photographers in the room.  I will forever be grateful to Jasmine and her husband JD.  I did learn key factors to help my business grow, but it’s what I learned within myself that I will cherish forever.  I am a very private person especially when it comes to personal issues going on in my life.  I like to smile and wave, just so I don’t look like anything is wrong.  Jasmine has been very open about her mother’s health and when she shared her personal experience at her workshop I was truly touched.  It’s like a big boulder fell out of the sky and knocked some sense into me.  I suddenly realized that in order for others to accept me I need to be personable.  I need to stop being afraid of being weak and let others see struggles.  I wouldn’t have had this revelation had Jasmine not shared her story with us.  If she can have an impact on little ole’ me than I need to buck up and provide that same chance with others.  So my goal is to be more open and forthcoming in order to help others that could be going through the same struggles as I am going through.  While I went into this workshop looking for ways to improve my business, I walked away with way more.  Thank you, thank you, thank you Jasmine Star!  So how about some previews from the workshop 🙂
